Well, this weekend kind of really sucked in the sense that I got to know a little more about an individual more so than I had originally planned. I just really don't understand people here at college... why is it that they think it's such a big thing to go out drinking as a way of meeting "new" friends, and so on. Hello, wake up people come on, seriously use some common sense... I mean do you really want to get to know a person while they are intoxicated, really drunk, or possibly suffering a black out and won't even remember you the next time they see you... um No offense but I wouldn't want to meet a person that way, let alone use that as the only means of getting to know a person up close. I mean come on the person is drinking alcohol... a drug for one, and yeah unless it's just a casual let's go to dinner have a drink or two, then i want no part in using alcohol as a way of getting to meet new people, and getting to know them. Seriously i just don't understand, why people my age think that drinking and partying is such a big thing.... um been there done that, and had to deal with the consequences too... i think it's lame... but i do admit i like to drink, but on a casual level not, oh let's go out and drink to the point where we black out, throw up, or pass out... i'll hang out with my friends watch some movies, play a few games, have a few drinks, but as of now... no i'm not into all that getting wasted bull shit. Because i've had to deal with too many damn people who have used alcohol as a way of feeling better about themselves, feeling comfortable around people, and so on... and then when they aren't drinking they don't want to do a god damn thing because they're feeling too down and depressed and think that they have no friends... ugh please... that's just fricken pathetic.
but yeah... this post has more to come... so it is TO BE CONTINUED.....
